Cora is growing up...

Cora loves her headband!! She loves trying to be a big girl and put it on herself...
Our Little Cora is growing up so fast. She is already 9 1/2 months...almost 10 months. She is learning and growing everyday and showing us new things everyday! She can now say "ow" or wow, she plays hide and go seek with her hands, she waves "hi" and "bye", she blows kisses (still working to perfect that one), does the motion for "big girl", she puts a phone up to her ear now as if she's talking on the phone, and she pulls up on furniture to her feet...last night she ventured out into moving from one piece of furniture to the other. She is so smart and such a quick learner. We are so lucky to have her. She loves her big sister and wants to do anything and everything she is doing. One of her favorite things to do is go into Kayley's room to play with her toys while Kayley's in the other room. I think she knows that now anytime she plays with one of Kayley's toys, it's all of a sudden a new found toy that is Kayley's favorite and she always ends up taking it away from Cora, hence why Cora loves to go into Kayley's room by herself!! We just love this little girl...oh and on the slide show, you can put the cursor on the picture to stop it and see the caption. Have fun looking at the pics!

Memorial Day 2008

I realize that Memorial Day is come and gone almost by a month now. However, I'm just now getting around to getting some pics updated. Here are some fun pics of our fun weekend. We had the Carles over for a barbeque that Judson and Nick cooked for us. Then we headed to Union Station for the "Celebration at the Station." We met the Walkers there and enjoyed the music from the St. Louis Symphony and fireworks afterwards. I unfortunately did not get the best pictures as our hands were tied up between holding Kayley and Cora's ears. They had cannons there that they set off during the last song and that sent Cora into a tizzy! She basically screamed throughout the whole fireworks show. I tried nursing her after I thought the cannons were finished, but luckily Jessica saw that they were lighting up the cannons again so I took her off before I lost a body part from teeth. Anyway, other than that, it was a lot of fun and the weather was great!!
